Plant Based Diet

Why you should choose a plant-based nutritionist

Did you know There are over 20,000 edible plant species and over 4,000 types of potatoes?

A plant-based diet is one that focuses mostly or only on foods from plant sources. It consists primarily of whole foods such as legumes, pulses, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds.  Some interpret it as a vegan diet, which involves avoiding all animal products (leather, silk and honey) for animal welfare reasons. For others its interpreted by mainly eating the aforementioned list of foods; One chooses more plant-based options but maintains the option to eat meat or dairy.

This type of diet has been scientifically proven to help prevent many of the serious diseases which affect our society, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol and heart disease.
